Introduction

Welcome to Dependi.io! These terms and conditions govern your use of Dependi.io's dependency management tool, VS Code extension, and associated web applications, including our landing page and Pro Panel. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

Definitions

"Service" refers to the Dependi.io VS Code extension, the landing page, and the Pro Panel.
"Pro User" refers to users with a paid plan accessing the Pro Panel.
"API Keys" refer to the keys managed within the Pro Panel for use with the extension.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Terms

Dependi.io reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and through direct communication such as email notifications. Continued use of the Service after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

User Guidelines and Acceptable Use

Users are expected to use the Service in accordance with the following guidelines:

Prohibited Activities:

Unauthorized access or use of the Service.
Reverse engineering or disassembling any part of the Service.
Posting or transmitting any harmful software or code.

User Contributions:

Pro Panel and Pro Users

The Pro Panel is exclusively for Pro Users who have subscribed to our paid plan. Within the Pro Panel, Pro Users can manage their service details, including payments and API key management.

Payments and Subscriptions:

Subscription fees are billed in advance.
All payments are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to modify the subscription fees. Users will be notified before any changes take effect.
Cancelled subscriptions will be deactivated after the paid month comes to an end.

API Key Management:

Pro Users can generate and manage API keys within the Pro Panel.
Users are responsible for securing their API keys and must notify us immediately in case of unauthorized access or suspected breaches .
By default every API Key can be used only on 2 (two) devices, option to buy more device seats is left to the user.
Users won't be able to receive a refund when reducing the maximum number of devices, however, they can apply this reduction for the next billing cycle.
Users are unable to reduce the maximum device count if it results in having fewer maximum devices than the current active device count.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials included in our Service, such as text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Dependi.io or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Copyright: All content is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Trademarks: The Dependi.io name and logo are registered trademarks of Dependi.io

Limitation of Liability

Dependi.io shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, and consequential damages.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dependi.io operates. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) .

Termination

Dependi.io reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Users may terminate their account by following the procedures set out in the Pro Panel. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect
